How do you capture pieces in checkers?

The majority of the precious time, each and every side is going to take the turn of theirs to advance their king's piece, and then their queen's piece, and after that their rook's piece, and so on. The cut pieces proceed as clockwork, in neat little sequences, every one due to its own unique name. It does not create much sense, does it? A game of chess is earned by a compilation of actions, not by the placement of one piece on the board.
